Saying Hello

Where to begin,where to begin? I have not dropped off the face of the planet, I have just been busy with life..... you know kids, the basic summer craziness.

School is done, so all the kids are home and the house is bursting at the seems. Our house seems to be the gathering place for the neighbourhood. It's not uncommon that we have our own six kids plus an extra four kids playing at our house throughout the day.

But to tell you the the truth "the more the merrier". Sure every so often you have to break up the odd fight or the occasional mischievous plan, but for the most part, all the kids get along GREAT.

Oh to be a kid again so carefree.......sigh.

Moving right along, the Triplets, amazingly adorable as usual but would you expect anything

less.

Their speech is now finally staring to take off......just priceless. Most words just Mommy and Daddy can understand but of course I am just loving every minute of it.

About 3 weeks ago we moved them into toddler beds because of our little acrobat, Miss Jenny. I am happy to report, they transitioned into them BEAUTIFULLY!

It took us a total of 2 days, NO fuss, NO whining, virtually NO jumping out, NO crying, NO tears, fights, NO sleepless nights.

Yes, all you multiple Mommas out there, there is hope, do not be afraid. It was EASY and PAINLESS!

Life around here is as hectic and chaotic as it can get, summer always is, but I LOVE having the kids home. I don't think life can get any better then this I am, So Very Blessed.

My 10 Old....Happy Birthday Kurt!

Eye spy with my little eye an awesome boy who is 10 YEARS OLD!

Kurt has a Heart of Gold and wears his this Golden heart on his sleeve. What you see is what you get with this wonderful child. He holds nothing inside and is an open book.

While this sounds like the ideal child to parent it can prove to be quite challenging at times, but of course I would not change a thing about him.

I have seen Kurt sacrifice countless times anything he has, to make others around him happy and when he does, it's as if like the clouds part and God smiles. I often tell Kurt, he has the heart of Jesus.

He has the craziest care free spirit of all the kids, always ready, willing and WANTING to make us all smile.

What next.........please tell me he's not ready to start shaving, because THAT I am NOT ready to deal with, not yet anyway.

Happy 1rst Birthday Pork Chop

Yes, it's Pork Chop's 1 rst Birthday and I can hardly believe it! My little angel (and I use that term loosely) is one or seven whatever? Actually his birthday was last, week but slacker Mom here, was a little busy, so he got bumped but shhhhhhhh don't tell him!

Anyway, it just seems like it was just yesterday when we announced "It's a BOY" and now look at him walking, running, talking.........well barking. Oh the memories of firsts that has filled this past year, so sweet, so special....... some however not so sweet smelling.

We had a Great Memorial Day weekend!

My brother J and his wife Susanna drove all the way from New Jersey, to spend the holiday weekend with us. We had a fantastic time! We played, we chatted, the kids (my brother being one of them) biked, and in the evenings we enjoyed some magical campfires in our back yard .......... sigh.

I am always amazed, when I remeber back to the time, when I was the "typical" stuck up teenager and almost detested my brother. But now as an adult, I long to have those days back and find myself counting down the days, along with my kids, until the next visit with J & Susanna.

As far as Susanna, well I won't embarrass her but, I love her like she is my Sister and think she is AMAZING beyond what words can describe. I will let her photographs describe how truly AMAZING she is!

It Would Have Been a Sad Sad Day!

This is the series of shots, that almost took out our fancy camera and you all know how much we LOVE our camera. It would have indeed been a very sad, sad day to lose our seventh child, to such a horrific accident, but Daddy bravely turned to protect our babe, from Justin's "Heat".

Oh and by the way, Yes, Justin was aiming for Daddy, who was holding the camera.......but that's another story.

There is nothing this child cannot do, well almost nothing.
One day he will rule the world!

Bath Time Summer Style

Who says you can't just hose off a set of Triplets of in the back yard when its bath time. I always joked that I was going to do exactly that when they were born, but who knew it was actually a FANTASTIC idea?!

Uh oh, this one is sneaking away, I had better get the towels!
